Chiropractic comes from the Latin “Chi” and “Ro.” “Chi” is Latin for Christ, not Jesus Christ, but the presence of God. “Ro” is Latin for within. Chiropractic seeks to reach God within. By adjusting the spine so that life may flow once again through the spine and central nerve system, chiropractic is “clearing a path for God” so that you may heal and stay healed from within. 

Hosea 4:6 says, “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” Knowledge and wisdom in the Bible do not refer to just the obtaining of information, but also to the applying of information. Believing in your church or temple, becoming a somewhat good person, and learning about your health and righteous living is not “powerful faith.” Powerful faith changes your life and the lives of others. Wisdom is acting on your faith and knowledge and making a difference. In Proverbs 9:11, it states that through wisdom “days will be many and years will be added to life.”

Thanks to medicine, the people no longer have any faith left in the power of God that exists inside and created each one of them. You look at yourself as weak and abandoned by the Lord. But you are not.

There is only one Healer. It is not a pill, a shot, a prescription, a knife, or a doctor of any kind. It is God’s power in your body that made your body. Chiropractic does not treat the symptom or the disease. Chiropractic does not cure the disease. For this can only be accomplished by God’s intelligence from within. God needs no help to get you well or keep you well. He just needs no interference. Getting adjusted and staying off drugs removes that interference, giving you your best chance to get well and stay well, faithfully.
